Liquid Jet Solids Pumps are jet pumps which, with the help of a motive liquid, can convey flowable, granular materials. The motive liquid, in most cases water, emerges from the motive nozzle at high velocity into the mixing chamber of the pump, entraining the material present, conveying it away to the specified point of delivery.
Principal applications:
- conveying sand, gravel, salts, activated carbon, ion exchange resins and many other types of solid material
- to fill or empty reactors of reactor mass, or marble gravel in decarbonizing or deacidifying plants
Liquid Jet Solids Pumps are available as standard in cast iron or stainless steel,
and in 4 standard sizes from DN25 to DN80
