Liquid Jet Ventilators are used to draw off air, gas and vapours. Their method of operation can be compared to a Liquid Jet Vacuum Pump. They are designed to convey large suction flows at small pressure differences of between 1 – 20 mbar. Their operation is based on the liquid jet emerging from the motive nozzle, being expanded and dispersed into single droplets, which then hit and entrain the surrounding gas or air, conveying and compressing it to a higher sure.

Liquid Jet Ventilators are used:

  • to draw off used air, gases or vapours from works or storage areas and from vessels
  • the motive medium employed is normally water, although any reasonable motive fluid can be used.

Liquid Jet Ventilators are available in standard materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, pvc, and polypropylene and in 7 standard sizes, from DN50 to DN250
