February 2008 - The last year brought an important increase in sales and the new year 2008 - the centenary year - was started with success.
In 2007, the order intake in Germany was increased by 25 % and in Europe by 52 %. The pleasant rising trend of the past years is continued. This year, the order intake from the steel industry, the refineries and the petrochemical industry was particularly strong.
The order intake in January 2008 exceeds the budget so that the company can face up the centenary with confidence. Furthermore, for the current year the managing direction announced innovations in the sector of multi-stage steam jet vacuum pumps.
A series of tests of new construction forms of jet pumps will soon be completed, and another reduction of the steam consumption can be expected. These pumps can be combined to vacuum systems showing a particularly economical performance. In the field of single jet pumps, the conception of smaller compact solutions is planned. In the field of gas scrubbing plants, the company will focus on the commercialization of new applications for flue gas scrubbers all over the world.
